Požega-Slavonia prefect Antonija Jozić visited the works at the Innovation and coworking center Panora in Požega together with her colleagues, designers of the company Termo-projekt d.o.o. and representatives of the contractor, the company Promet gradenje d.o.o. The future coworking center will be located in the building of Podravska banka, which was purchased by the Požega-Slavonia County in June 2022, and with the ongoing investment, it will be converted into a building for economic and business purposes.

– In our county, we have successful examples of business incubators where beginning entrepreneurs mature, grow and bridge the first crisis years of business, after which they enter the market strengthened. The office space of the coworking center in Požega will also play such a role. The concept is designed to provide entrepreneurs with a space that will respond to their needs, provide them with savings and thus enable them to invest funds in further business development – Jozić pointed out during a tour of the works.

In addition to office spaces, conference halls and rest areas for entrepreneurs, digital nomads and other users, the Panora Innovation and Coworking Center will also be a business space for stakeholders who are a key link in the provision of services. The mentioned entrepreneurs will make their business easier and ensure time savings, which is an extremely important resource in today’s businesses surrounded by intense changes.

– We want to provide our entrepreneurs and craftsmen with adequate conditions for development in line with those in other European countries. Our goal is for the building in the center of Požega to be the center for the development of the business climate of the city, but also of our entire county, offering in one place an infrastructure solution and advisory services of the Regional Coordinator of the Požega-Slavonia County and other advisory services – adds Jozić.

For the ongoing works, the Požega-Slavonska County provided funds for co-financing through the Program of Support for the Economic Revitalization of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem at the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds in the total amount of 796,336.85 euros.
